Job DescriptionFacilities Preventative Maintenance & Calibration Technician

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Facilities Preventative Maintenance and Calibration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of complex utility systems in a GMP-regulated environment. You’ll work independently to ensure the reliability and performance of critical systems supporting manufacturing and laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration on utility systems including WFI, RODI, Clean Steam, CIP, Autoclaves, Glassware Washers, HVAC, Cold/Warm Rooms, and production vessels.
  • Troubleshoot and repair systems such as MV/LV electrical distribution, control systems, compressed gases, plant steam/condensate, bulk chemical distribution, and wastewater treatment.
  • Collaborate with facilities and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance activities and equipment installations.
  • Safely move and install equipment, including lifting up to 50 lbs and accessing equipment via ladders or confined spaces across a multi-building campus.

Qualifications:

  • 5–10 years of mechanical or facilities maintenance experience in environments such as biotech, semiconductor, chemical plants, or data centers.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in a GMP environment is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow directions, work independently, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Licenses or certifications are not required but are a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
