Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school nurse position is available in an elementary school setting in Derry, NH, with an immediate start date and an assignment extending through June, with potential summer opportunities. This role involves working closely with elementary-aged students, providing health services, case management, and collaborating with educators to support student health and educational needs.
Responsibilities include delivering direct care services, managing student health caseloads, writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and partnering with classroom teachers to implement necessary modifications and accommodations. The position is a contract role with a work schedule of 35 hours per week across five days.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse licensure is required
- Experience in special education or school nursing preferred
- Ability to manage case workload efficiently and engage with educational staff effectively
- Knowledge of IEP development and implementation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
