M Precision Laboratories, INC. is a small, growing engineering company with a hands-on team that takes pride in precision and quality. Our work supports innovative test and measurement systems that are changing the EMC and ESD industry.

We are looking to hire a Calibration Technician to join our growing company. In this role, you’ll calibrate, maintain, and repair high-precision electronic equipment at our lab in Shirley, Massachusetts. You’ll work with experienced technicians to ensure every piece of equipment meets ISO 17025 quality standards.

Job Description:

· Calibrate EMC and ESD measurement and test equipment, which includes compiling, measuring, and recording data gathered during calibration.

· Perform repair and maintenance of EMC and ESD systems.

· Follow company's Accredited ISO 17025 processes and procedures for calibration or repair of equipment.

· Perform basic maintenance of precision equipment.

· Communicate effectively with team members to ensure fast, reliable turnaround for customers

· Other duties and tasks may be assigned.

Qualifications

· Must have hands on experience with Automated Test Equipment (Oscilloscopes, Multimeters and High Voltage Probes etc.)

· Understanding of electrical circuits and high-voltage systems preferred.

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

· Familiarity with ISO 17025 or other calibration standards a plus.

· Solid PC skills and ability to use calibration software or data-entry tools.

· Must be able to work around high voltage equipment in a safe manner.

· A self-starter attitude; reliable, organized, and eager to learn.

Requirements:

· Occasional standing and bending are required

· Must have a minimum of 2 years advanced training or experience in electronic principles in a calibration laboratory setting.

Education/Experience Requirements:

· Military electronics training (PMEL) experience and/or

· Technical degree in Electronics
