Job Title: RN – Telemetry
Rate: Up to $2400.00 weekly

Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Experience
- Prefer a minimum of two (2) years clinic experience
- Psych experience is preferred
Licenses/Certifications
- Have and maintain current licensure as a Licensed Practical/Licensed Vocational Nurse within the state of employment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR certification.
Key Responsibilities
Continuous Monitoring: monitor patients' heart rates and rhythms using specialized telemetry equipment, detect and respond to any abnormal readings or changes in a patient's condition.
Patient Assessment: perform routine assessments of patients, including checking vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen levels. This helps in identifying any potential complications early.
Interpreting Data: analyze data from electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other monitoring devices to interpret cardiac rhythms and identify any irregularities that may require immediate medical attention.
Administering Medications: administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring that patients receive the appropriate care.
Patient Education: educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and post-hospital care, including lifestyle changes and medication management.
Collaboration: work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and specialists, to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
Emergency Response: trained to respond quickly, which may include administering cardioversion or defibrillation for patients experiencing cardiac arrest or severe arrhythmias.
Primary shift is 7p-7a, but you must be willing to flex 4 hours before or after your scheduled time (3p-3a or 11p-11a). It will be 1-2 times per week (or more), so flexibility is key for this position.
Must be willing to float to geri psych, as needed. Orientation and de-escalation training are provided.
