Job Description\n
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a MA RN license, Epic experience, and strong critical care skills.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Care for cardiac patients before, during, and after catheterization procedures
- Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, 3 shifts per week
- On-call required one shift per week from 7:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- On-call rotation every 5-6 weekends for 48 hours, from 6:30 AM Saturday to 6:30 AM Monday
- Uses Epic EMR and Epic experience is required
- Responsible for all phases of care in the Cardiac Cath Lab including pre, intra, and post-procedure responsibilities
- No maximum on allowable return time, but former perm staff may not return as travelers
- No limit on local candidates, but those residing under 50 miles may receive a reduced rate
- No more than 7 days of requested time off (RTO) are allowed during the assignment
- Blue scrubs are a safe choice for attire
- COVID-19 medical and religious exemptions are accepted
- Two professional references from the past 12 months are required for consideration

- Active MA RN license or temporary MA RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications that do not expire within 30 days of assignment start
- Minimum 2 years of documented Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience
- Critical care experience required
- Competency in Cath Lab pre, post, and intracath care
- Familiarity with the Cardiac Cath Lab checklist
- Experience with Epic EMR is required
