Degree in American Sign Language (ASL) Interpreting, certified ASL Interpreter credentials, and 1+ year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract position is available for a skilled and licensed Sign Language Interpreter to support students and staff within a school setting. This role requires a professional with a minimum endorsement of a 3.5 EIPA (Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment) score to ensure effective communication and accessibility for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.

Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled interpretation services for academic and social settings between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff.
- Facilitate clear communication during classroom instruction, meetings, and school events to support students' educational needs.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to promote an inclusive learning environment.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards and licensing requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid interpreter license required.
- Minimum 3.5 EIPA score mandatory.
- Proven experience in educational settings, preferably within K-12 schools.
- Strong knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and ability to interpret a wide range of subject matter.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
Compensation and Benefits:
