Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Setting: Long-Term Care / Closed Door Pharmacy
Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday Friday, with some weekends as needed

Overview:
RPh on the Go is seeking a strong and experienced Pharmacist in Charge to lead a long-term care, closed-door pharmacy in Boston. This role is ideal for candidates with recent pharmacy management experience, preferably in LTC, who are ready to oversee operations, ensure compliance, and support a high-performing team.

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations.
Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including prescription dispensing, medication counseling, and patient care services.
Maintain accurate and complete records of all pharmacy transactions, including inventory and controlled substance management.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure safe, efficient pharmacy operations.
Provide guidance and support to pharmacists, technicians, and other staff, fostering a positive work environment.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and training to maintain high-quality service.
Oversee the inventory manager, ensuring adequate medication stock while minimizing waste.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to resolve medication-related issues.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and drive operational efficiency and patient care outcomes.

Requirements:

Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacist license.
24 years of long-term care pharmacy experience.
Recent pharmacy management experience, preferably in LTC.
