This opportunity is for two skilled Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) to provide essential services within a K-12 school setting from Pre-K through Grade 8. The roles are available on a contract basis for the 2025-2026 school year, with the start date scheduled for August 28, 2025. Candidates should hold a current New Hampshire license and possess credentials such as SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY, or SLP - School certification.
Positions available:
- One full-time SLP
- One SLP working 3-4 days per week (or both full-time, if preferred)
Working hours are Monday through Friday from 8:05 a.m. to 3:25 p.m., totaling 32.5 hours per week. The caseload consists of approximately 46 students, ranging from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8, with diverse needs that include articulation and social skills challenges, as well as students with autism who use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing one-on-one and group therapy services tailored to individual student needs
- Overseeing caseloads that include students with 504 plans
- Facilitating weekly speech and language groups in Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms
- For candidates employing Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CFs), ensuring licensed SLP oversight is maintained
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Current New Hampshire licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Expertise in managing a wide range of student communication disorders
- Ability to provide therapy to students with diverse needs, including those using AAC devices
- Experience working within a school environment, especially with Pre-K through Grade 8 populations
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
