Job Description
Join our team as an HVAC Technician, where you will perform essential repairs and maintenance tasks on a college campus. You will troubleshoot systems to ensure their efficient operation, focusing primarily on compressors, bolts, motors, and air filters. Collaborate with licensed subcontractors for major repairs and contribute to the smooth functioning of the campus facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance on HVAC units.
- Troubleshoot systems to restore functionality or determine when to call for expert assistance.
- Work primarily on compressors, bolts, motors, and air filters.
- Assist with various campus projects as needed, demonstrating flexibility and willingness to help.
- Maintain a professional and presentable demeanor in customer-facing situations.
Essential Skills
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting.
- Experience in maintenance and repair of HVAC units.
- Proficiency in preventive maintenance and service tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- No specific license required.
- 3+ years experience in basic troubleshooting and general repairs.

Work Environment
Work Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm, on a vibrant university campus.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Massachusetts.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr.
