Manufacturing Operations Manager
Our growing, successful client is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for their team! This high-impact, central leadership role will act as a key partner to both the production and commercial sides of the business. You’ll enjoy the company’s solution-focused, fast-moving culture and the chance to truly build and lead a vital internal function from the ground up.
Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Operations Manager
- Own internal support functions, including Production, IT, HR, Purchasing, Shipping, Maintenance, and administrative processes
- Work hands-on to build structure, transparency, and operational excellence across all support functions, with a particular emphasis on Production
- Drive process improvements and standardize workflows
- Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives (e.g., facility expansion, system rollouts)
- Build strong interfaces with Production, Sales, and Product Development teams
- Manage two direct reports with clarity and accountability
- Promote a collaborative, non-bureaucratic culture
Qualifications of the Manufacturing Operations Manager
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Operations, Plant/Production Support, ideally within a growing, mid-sized manufacturing company
- Familiar with production environments and internal logistics
- Solid understanding of lean principles and organizational scaling
- Comfortable leading laterally and influencing without formal authority
- Analytical, structured, and effective communicator in English
- Ability to work with strong personalities and influence change
- Independent, self-driven, and highly pragmatic
