We are looking for a Staff Search Engineer to lead the development of advanced search technology at the heart of our knowledge platform. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys tackling complex, unsolved problems in search and retrieval, particularly in environments where algorithms are designed to serve intelligent agents rather than human users. You will be responsible for shaping new approaches, driving implementation, and ensuring measurable results.
What You’ll Do

Architect and refine search algorithms that can operate across unstructured and complex knowledge sources.

What We’re Looking For

Strong background in search and retrieval, with hands-on experience using tools such as Opensearch, vector databases, and PostgreSQL.

A history of working on algorithm-heavy engineering challenges.

Experience creating production-ready retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems or similar architectures.

Ability to thrive in experimental, research-oriented environments.

Genuine curiosity for emerging technologies and willingness to test new approaches.
