Position Title: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (Float Pool)
Location: Falmouth, MA
Job Type: Contract | Travel
Shift: Flexible
Hourly Pay: $65 – $70
Weekly Pay: $2,300 – $2,500
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry (Float Pool) for an exciting Travel job in Falmouth, MA.
Key Responsibilities:

Practice according to entity and department requirements
-
Deliver patient care utilizing the nursing process
-
Provide care as part of an interdisciplinary team
-
Offer effective patient/family teaching
-
Document per guidelines and maintain accurate EMR use
-
Administer medications safely
-
Care for terminally ill patients and families
-
Identify and report signs of neglect or abuse
-
Manage patients with pain management, chest drainage devices, IV therapy, telemetry monitoring, post-operative needs, orthopedic diagnoses, and epidural analgesia.

Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac medications and emergency response
-
Utilize time management effectively
-
Respect and implement patient advance directives
-
Maintain required licenses, certifications, and registrations

Perform clinical skills safely and in accordance with protocols

Address age-specific needs of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
-
Provide excellent customer service in all interactions
-
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Minimum 2+ years of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry RN experience – Required
-
Travel nursing experience – Preferred
-
Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
-
Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts – Required
-
Current BLS Certification – Required
-
Successful completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module and Basic Arrhythmia exam
