Purpose Assist the Quality Assurance Supervisor in the maintenance, review and development of the quality management system including SQF certification. This will also include supporting the Quality Assurance Manager and team to ensure that all company policies and procedures are implemented and adhered to.


JOB RESPOSIBILITIES:

  • The Quality Assurance Technician is responsible for quality monitoring and ensures that products manufactured are safe and free from flaws or errors and are of the highest quality
  • Ensures HACCP and GMP guidelines are being followed by all employees
  • Actively promotes a clean and safe work environment according to appropriate company and governmental guidelines
  • Collects, analyzes and reports data about product quality and process efficiency
  • Regularly verifies operation of metal detectors
  • Performs regular line checks, including temperature, size, weight, count, pH, moisture, process and code checks
  • Inspects incoming raw materials and finished product
  • Performs sensory evaluation to ensure product conforms to specifications
  • Conducts pre operation inspections and release lines to production after passing results
  • Performs monthly, weekly inspections including Glass and Brittle Plastics inspection, knife inspection, retail sample inspection
  • Verifies calibration accuracy (scale, water meter, flour meter, thermometer, chemical titration)
  • Performs environmental monitoring activities
  • Responsible for mandatory GMP training for all production employees
  • Flexible working hours to ensure presence on all shifts
  • Prepares samples for lab tests
  • Any other tasks deemed reasonable and reasonably requested by management.



Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
  • Effective professional communication skills with ALL levels of the organization.
  • Strong command of the written English language
