Job Description\n
American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with at least two years of recent critical care experience, EPIC proficiency, and a NH or compact license.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
- Work in a 10-bed ICU caring for adolescent to geriatric patients
- 2:1 RN-to-patient ratio in a Level III Trauma environment
- Must be proficient with IV drips, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications
- Experience with arterial lines required
- May be required to float to PCU
- Uses EPIC EMR system
- Block scheduling is not available
- Travelers are required to work two of the following holiday sets: Thanksgiving and its weekend, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day and its weekend, or New Year's Eve/Day and its weekend
- Charge and preceptor experience is a plus
- Travelers must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- No more than 5 days of requested time off will be considered, and requests must be submitted at the time of application
- All required medical and occupational health compliance must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance
- Standard dress code and hospital protocols apply

- Active NH or compact RN license required
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
- At least two years of current ICU experience is required
- Experience with EPIC EMR is required
- Proficiency with arterial lines, ventilators, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive drips required
- Candidate must have their own vehicle
