Job DescriptionJob Title: HVAC TechnicianJob Description

As an HVAC Technician, you will monitor building system operations and performance, utilizing skills in plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling on equipment such as air handlers, chillers, pumps, and valves. You will organize and perform a preventative maintenance schedule, manage an energy management program to optimize system efficiency and minimize operating costs, and maintain the building lighting system while overseeing controls.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and operate building systems including plumbing, electrical, heating, and cooling equipment.
  • Organize and perform preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Manage energy management programs to ensure efficient system operations.
  • Maintain and oversee the building lighting system and controls.

Essential Skills

  • 5-7 years of building engineer and/or HVAC experience.
  • MA Refrigeration or Journeyman HVAC license.
  • Knowledge of building management systems and controls (e.g., Siemens, Johnson Controls).
  • Experience with computer maintenance management systems (CMMS).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including customer service.
  • Experience with on-call work for unexpected emergency situations preferred.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boston, MA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $49.00 - $49.00/hr.
