Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a school setting in Florence, MA. This contract position spans the complete school year and focuses on providing effective speech and language therapy services tailored to diverse student needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students across all grade levels
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and student goals
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and communication skills
- Maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive learning environment
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Current Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Prior experience working as an SLP in school settings supporting K-12 populations
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders, assessment tools, and evidence-based interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with students, families, and staff
