Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing the Clinical Case Management (CCM) team with supervision of direct care staff. Primary focus on internal programs with the duty to promote intra- and interdepartmental functioning. Position may include coordination of clinicians who may do a wide range of case management, including driving clients and home visits, therapeutic, administrative, and outreach services to assist consumers with severe and persistent mental illness in their recovery. Position may also include evaluation and treatment services, including substance abuse assessments and treatments.


Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide supervision and oversight to a team of master and bachelor level clinicians serving individuals with severe and persistent mental illness primarily in the office-based setting including but not limited to performance appraisals, documentation audits, running team meetings and consultations, providing individual supervision to each team member, hiring and training of new staff, coordination of conditional discharges, emergency consultations within business hours, and other team/managerial duties
  • May be requested to take part in consultations, education activities, speakers bureau, presentations, and supervision of employees toward licensure. They will also be expected to take part in quality improvement activities.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Illness, Management, and Recovery as well as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis
  • Familiarity with crisis management (i.e. conditional discharges, Involuntary Emergency Admissions)
  • Basic fundamental computer experience to process e-mail and client access is required

Experience:

  • Must have completed at least five years of work in the field of psychiatric/mental health services.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications: Must possess a valid driver’s license and automobile with liability insurance in the amount required by agency policy.


Licensure: New Hampshire LICSW or LCMHC license
