Job Description

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Occupational Therapist is needed to support K-12 students in a school setting located approximately 20 minutes outside of Boston, Somerville, MA. This contracted position is for the current school year, starting around March 26 through June 12, with the possibility of Extended School Year (ESY) services for those interested. The role is specifically to cover an Occupational Therapist maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to K-12 students
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Document therapies and maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies

Qualifications:

Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings
Ability to work effectively with children across all K-12 grade levels
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Knowledge of relevant state regulations and educational standards for OT services
