Are you eager to make a difference and connect with our residents? Oriol Healthcare is actively seeking a Casual (8 hours/week) Activities Assistant to become part of our team!
Schedule: 11:00AM - 7:30PM, Every other weekend Hourly Rate: $16.25 - $19.42
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Ensure dependable and punctual attendance</li>
<li>Assist or lead group and 1-on-1 activity programs</li>
<li>Help residents to and from activities</li>
<li>Report changes in resident behavior and safety hazards</li>
<li>Distribute and post monthly activity calendars</li>
<li>Evaluate residents based on backgrounds, interests, and needs</li>
<li>Maintain daily attendance charts for residents</li>
<li>File resident attendance forms quarterly or monthly</li>
<li>Participate in staff and care plan meetings and training</li>
<li>Maintain equipment and supplies safely and neatly</li>
<li>Ensure residents receive their mail daily</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Previous experience working with residents and have familiarity with resident Limitations needs. Have a thorough knowledge of various resident activities </li>
