Job Description

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Pay Rate: $24-26/hr
Location: Chelmsford, MA
Duration: Temp-Perm
Shift: M-F 8:30am - 5:00pm

Description:
The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet defined quality standards throughout the production process and report on nonconformities as they arise. This role requires attention to detail, accurate documentation, and familiarity with quality procedures and technical specifications. The inspector will perform both visual and dimensional inspections using a variety of measurements tools and inspection methods to validate product conformance.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED
2+ years of quality experience
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Preferred experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 certified Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Familiarity with ERP systems, such as SAP, is desired.
Active IPC-610 (completed training within the past 2 years) preferred.
Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and the ability to read engineering drawings.
Experience with mechanical inspection tools, including Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), vision systems, verniers, calipers, micrometers, height gauges, gauge pins, etc.
