We are in search of a dedicated and experienced Project Manager for our mechanical HVAC/Plumbing projects. This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned professional with substantial experience in the construction industry, specifically in plumbing and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in construction management, contract review and negotiation, scheduling, budgeting, and financials. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working for a mechanical contractor.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC and plumbing projects from inception to completion.
- Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Monitor project budgets and financials, making necessary adjustments to ensure financial objectives are met.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project operations.
- Ensure all projects are compliant with safety and building regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders, including progress reports and forecasts.
- Continuously improve project management processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, specifically with mechanical contractor.
- Proven track record of managing large scale construction projects from start to finish.
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
- Expertise in contract review, negotiation, and administration.
- Proficient in project scheduling and budgeting.
- Responsible for project financials.
- Comprehensive understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage project financials effectively.
- Proficient in relevant software applications.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
- Mechanical aptitude is a must.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
