We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various massage techniques, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy, with a focus on patient service and pain management. This role involves providing therapeutic treatments to clients in a professional environment, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction while promoting overall wellness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and medical histories to tailor treatments effectively.
• Perform a variety of massage techniques, including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and other modalities as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
• Educate clients on the benefits of massage therapy and recommend follow-up treatments or self-care practices.
• Collaborate with other health professionals within the med spa to provide comprehensive care.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in massage therapy practices.
• Maintain accurate client records, including treatment plans and progress notes, using appropriate medical terminology.

Qualifications

• Valid state license or certification in massage therapy.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to massage therapy.
• Experience in customer service with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with occupational health standards and pain management techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment options and expectations.
• Previous experience in a med spa setting is preferred but not required.
