Registered Nurses with ICU experience are sought for a contract opportunity in Hillsborough, NH, providing care in a fast-paced, Level III Trauma environment. This 10-bed unit serves patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, with a focus on delivering comprehensive critical care at a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, ensuring timely interventions
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and evaluate patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient status and nursing care
- Comply with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with a valid New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License or Registration Certificate (mandatory for consideration)
- Minimum ICU nursing experience, preferably with Level III Trauma patients
- Strong clinical skills in critical care nursing and patient assessment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a care team under demanding conditions
- No scheduling accommodations or blocking requests accepted
- Candidates must not reside within 50 miles of the facility (local travelers not considered)
- Willingness to commit to contract scheduling with no more than five days of requested time off during assignment
