We challenge guests to compete and collaborate both physically and mentally in over 40 different themed challenge rooms, player vs. player arena-style competitions, and art scavenger hunts. We also offer 2 dining options including a quick beer and bite in the Night Shift Beer Hall and a more authentic brewery dining experience in the Night Shift Tap Room & Kitchen, featuring locally brewed craft drinks and expertly prepared dishes.
Level99 is currently searching for an awesome and tech-savvy person to join our team as the Entertainment Technician. The ideal candidate will help to ensure our attractions and facilities remain operational, clean, and safe for guests.
About the role...
The Entertainment Technician is an important part-time role charged with assisting and supporting the Technical Supervisor in the overall maintenance and repair of the Level99 entertainment space, including all the custom games and attractions within. Our ideal candidate is smart, tech-savvy, relentlessly positive, detail oriented and genuinely excited about what Level99 has to offer. The Entertainment Technician works hands-on in the trenches to assist with the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and improvement of Level99’s attractions and facilities.
As the Entertainment Technician, you may be required to:
- Stand for long periods of time, up to a full day
- Lift heavy set pieces or materials, up to 50 lbs
- Complete repairs and attraction upkeep in small, dimly-lit spaces
- Utilize ladders to reach attractions or art pieces up to 14 feet in the air
What you’ll bring...
To be successful in this role, the Entertainment Technician must be comfortable in a variety of technical areas to ensure safety and optimal performance. Though we will provide job-specific training, the ideal candidate will have some experience in or familiarity with:
- Operating power tools including drills, saws, sanders, as well as hand tools
- Comfort working with wood, metal, plastic, etc.
- Performing basic low-voltage wiring (such as lights, speakers, and buttons)
- Comfort working on and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, lighting, and basic computer systems
- Scenic touch-up and painting
Though this is not directly a customer-facing role, the Entertainment Technician will be required to work respectfully with all team members, as well as handle repairs during normal operating hours while guests are present in the venue. In addition to technical skills, the Entertainment Technician will be:
- Skilled in articulating problems and finding their source
- Creative and efficient with problem solving
- Able to work well with team members
- Reliable with a positive, can-do attitude
