Quality Engineer III
(Location: Nashua, NH area)
Qualifications
*The manager is looking for a Quality Engineer who can focus on the end products specifications and quality standards.
*5-7+ years’ experience in a quality engineering role in a manufacturing engineering, operations project management, or quality position for complex electromechanical assemblies and systems.
*BS in a technical discipline.
*Familiarity with the following workmanship criteria: IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD, MIL-STD-883
*Experience working on Defense/DoD related programs is preferred
*Able to demonstrate knowledge of AS9100 rev D and working in aerospace environment.
*Strong leadership skills with the ability to successfully mentor and coach others and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including customers.
*Knowledge of relevant quality standards, methods and practices.
*Knowledge of relevant manufacturing processes such as soldering, machining, brazing/welding, painting and plating.
*Knowledge of line balancing, fault trees and statistical process control would be a plus.
*Experience with Agile PLM (or similar), Oracle, Solidworks, Jira, and Jama software is a plus.
*Outstanding written and verbal communications skills.
*Proven record of initiative, problem solving and the ability to recognize and implement improvements.
*U.S. Citizenship Required (Ability to obtain security clearance, but a clearance is not required for this job).
Preferred Qualifications ("plus", not a "must"): candidate has a good understanding of GD&T requirements. This location produces sensor systems, so any previous experience with sensor systems would be a plus.
