Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers the opportunity to support students with special needs in an educational environment dedicated to fostering growth and development. The role is based in Lowell, MA, within a school setting and operates on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and support staff to create inclusive classroom environments.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.
  • Provide direct instruction to students with disabilities in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Valid teaching certification in Special Education.
  • Experience working with students requiring special education services.
