Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse to provide specialized care in an Intensive Care Unit setting during night shifts. This role entails working 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, totaling 36 hours per week. The position is contract-based and requires flexibility for the specified schedule.
Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid RN license with experience in ICU nursing.
- Competency in caring for a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Familiarity with trauma care at a Level III trauma center.
- Experience using the Cerner Electronic Medical Records system is preferred.
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility.
- Ability to comply with a Return to Office request of no more than 3 days.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality critical care nursing to patients in the ICU during night hours.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate patients' conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate documentation through the Cerner EMR system.
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and trauma cases.
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and uphold standards for patient safety.
