Role and Team
- Reporting to the designated manager, securing personal property and assisting with lot operations.
Responsibilities
- Confirm vehicle mileage, make, year, VIN, and customer account.
- Secure Personal Property upon arrival at auction before the vehicle is moved.
- The use of power tools to remove license plate
- Identify each vehicle as completed once Personal Property is removed
- Use PC to enter Personal Property, look up vehicle information and update data
- Maintain Personal Property Inventory to ensure accuracy & accessibility
- Communicate with account admins, coordinators & stock in clerks to report personal property is collected & disposed of after required holding period.
- Locate, number and move vehicles to designated area on the Lot
- Use electronic devices to scan inventory and record movement of vehicles on property
- Communicate with operations teams to ensure an efficient flow of inventory from vehicle check in, inspections, shops and auction sale line until vehicle is checked out
- Take photos of vehicles as needed
- Track missing items and assist with locating vehicles
- May operate gas dollies, lock out tools, or jump packs
- Any other duties assigned by the designated manager
Skills and Attributes
- Team player who can collaborate well with multiple departments, customers and vendors
- Strong customer service skills
- Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage deliverables and metrics against aggressive targets and timelines
Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Automotive/auction experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Hardworking, motivated team player
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license that meets the requirements
- Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computer systems and applications

Physical Working Conditions:
