Master’s degree in School Counseling, Counseling or a related field, active School Counselor license and 1+ years School Counselor experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This role offers the opportunity to support high school students with emotional and behavioral disorders in a part-time contract position located in Kingston, NH. The position involves working 20 hours per week over three days, providing counseling services to approximately 12 students in the high school EBD population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver counseling support tailored to students with emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with school staff and families to develop and implement individualized plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory and ethical standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current licensure as a Counselor, Social Worker, or School Psychologist is required.
- Experience working with adolescent populations, preferably within a school setting.
- Strong understanding of emotional and behavioral disorders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Candidates must hold valid licensure or certification; Statements of Eligibility will not be accepted.
