Job Title: Plater
Job Description
Perform barrel and rack plating on required parts utilizing proper plating techniques according to quality control standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning brazed parts for soldering.
Responsibilities
- Control zinc plating processing and manage hazardous chemicals.
- Run and clean high-pressure wastewater filter systems, change filters of zinc and water rinse tanks, and monitor the acid pH level of zinc tanks.
- Operate all related vibrating and deburring equipment.
- Load, unload, dip, hang, and plate parts into manual rack tanks.
- Check plating thickness and color to ensure quality standards.
- Prepare new plating solutions as necessary.
- Clean high-pressure ET filter systems, evaporate and pump wastewater out of the system, brush and wash each filter, prime DE system, and adjust wastewater tank pH level.
- Record plating logs, graphs, and daily production reports.
- Maintain accurate chemical inventory and usage records.
- Ensure a high standard of quality and maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to handle hazardous chemicals and zinc plating processes.
- Experience with high-pressure wastewater systems and filter maintenance.
- Familiarity with vibrating and deburring equipment operation.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
