Job Title: Biopharma Product Engineer – AWS & Python
Location: New England Area (Onsite Boston 5x per month- every Friday required)
Contract Duration: 6 months (with a strong possibility of extension)

Job Overview:
We are seeking an AWS Product Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building distributed data pipelines using AWS in the Pharma space. The ideal candidate is proficient in Python and has a solid understanding of GxP-compliant environments. This is a coding-heavy role — not DevOps or AWS administration — where you’ll contribute directly to the architecture and development of robust data solutions in a highly regulated, cloud-native environment.
Key Required Responsibilities:
- 5+ years leveraging AWS platform services in a hands-on capacity.
- Keeping up with the latest and greatest AWS services- EC2, S3, FSx, ElasticSearch, EKS
- Proficiency in programming languages relevant to AWS applications (Python, Java, etc.).
- Produce high-quality technical design, build, and procedure documentation.
- Be able to jump into troubleshooting efforts when asked and as needed.
- AWS certification.
- Background in pharmaceutical development environments
- GxP Good practices within the pharma environment experience is a must.
- Willingness and ability to collaborate across internal practices and with other team members.
Nice to Have:
- PySpark skills
- Familiarity with React or Angular.
- Strong experience with CI/CD environments.
- Understanding of a front-end JS typescript- React or Angular preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- SAS Analytics platform ETL.

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred, but experience may substitute.

- Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension.
- Must be willing to be in Boston every Friday. One additional day per month is required.
