PX/Senior Project Manager
Position Overview
The PX/Senior Project Manager will lead and oversee construction projects in Portland, Maine, focusing on high-rise, mid-rise, multifamily, and hospitality developments. This role is integral in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, while effectively managing client relationships and project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the planning and execution of construction projects from conception to completion.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of high-quality results.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to coordinate project activities and resolve issues.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and building regulations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare and present project updates and reports to key stakeholders and management.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges that may impact project success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience managing high-rise, mid-rise, multifamily, and hospitality projects.
- Strong experience with Concrete highrise structures
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and safety standards.
- Certifications such as PMP or equivalent are preferred.
