Interim Director of Residence Life
Pay: $45–$50/hr
Schedule: Full-time
Contract through March
Location: Boston, MA
 
 
About the Role:
An accredited, private institution specializing in medical and health sciences is seeking an Interim Director of Residence Life to provide leadership and stability while a permanent hire is identified. This role reports to the Senior Associate Dean of Students and oversees daily departmental operations and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Lead day-to-day operations for Residence Life (excluding budget management)</li>
<li>Supervise 2 Area Coordinators and 1 Office Manager</li>
<li>Support student conflict resolution and parent communications</li>
<li>Coordinate Residence Life involvement in major campus events</li>
<li>Ensure timely handling of student cases</li>
<li>Participate in on-call rotation (some nights/weekends)</li>
</ul>
What We’re Looking For:
<ul>
<li>5+ years in Residence Life or Student Affairs</li>
<li>Higher Ed experience required</li>
<li>Strong leadership, communication, and mediation skills</li>
<li>Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred</li>
<li>Available after background check; contract runs through March</li>
