About the Opportunity:
InCare Pulmonary and Sleep Specialists is seeking an experienced and dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our hospital medicine team at a highly regarded inpatient rehabilitation facility. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM), with a one weekend per month commitment.

You will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients recovering from a variety of conditions including stroke, fracture, post-transplant, and other complex illnesses. This role requires both clinical expertise and the ability to respond quickly in urgent situations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and care for patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
  • Complete patient admissions efficiently and thoroughly.
  • Respond to emergency calls and codes as needed.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Document all patient care accurately and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in Massachusetts.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an inpatient hospital or acute care setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
