Job Title: Pharmacy Technician
Pay Rate: $20-$22/hr. (No benefits)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Location: Boston, MA 02111
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 6 pm, and closed on the weekends and on national holidays.
Job Description:
The Pharmacy Technician will support specialty pharmacy operations at the Boston Pharmacy, handling prescription refills, patient deliveries, prior authorizations, and benefits verification. This role requires strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and an active Massachusetts Pharmacy Technician License.
Key Responsibilities:

- Process refills, prescriptions, and set up medication deliveries

- Handle patient calls and coordinate with pharmacists

- Manage prior authorizations, copay assistance, and benefits verification

Requirements:

- Pharmacy Technician License (Massachusetts)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
