Job DescriptionMechanical Inspector Mechanical Inspector - Second Shift
Position Overview
We are seeking a diligent Mechanical Inspector for our Second Shift operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that all mechanical components meet quality standards and specifications through thorough inspections and evaluations. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct visual and physical inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize measurement tools to assess the dimensions and tolerances of parts and assemblies.
- Review technical documentation and blueprints to verify conformance to design specifications.
- Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) as required to evaluate the integrity of materials and components.
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to engineering and production teams.
- Identify and report any defects or issues, proposing solutions to improve quality and efficiency.
- Maintain compliance with ISO standards and internal quality control procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in mechanical inspection or quality control roles.
- Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and measurement tools.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and technical documentation.
- Understanding of ISO standards and quality assurance principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members.
