Job Description

Job DescriptionEmbark on a transformative journey as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room in the charming town of Littleton, New Hampshire, with an opportunity to impact patient care across diverse surgical teams starting March 2, 2026. This role is crafted for skilled perioperative nurses who thrive in fast paced environments, where precision, collaboration, and compassionate patient interaction converge to deliver exceptional outcomes. As you step into this contract spanning several weeks, you’ll join a supportive network committed to your growth and mastery of perioperative nursing—from preoperative preparation through postoperative recovery, all performed with the highest standards of safety and empathy. You will be part of a community that values your expertise, respects your voice, and empowers you to shape the patient experience in meaningful, measurable ways. Beyond the OR, you’ll have the chance to experience the beauty of New Hampshire: from the rocky grandeur of the White Mountains to tranquil lakeside towns, vibrant fall foliage, and easy excursions into nearby cultural centers—an inspiring backdrop that complements a career dedicated to healing and excellence.

Littleton offers a distinct blend of scenic grandeur and small-town hospitality, with easy access to outdoor adventures that refresh and reenergize after intense surgical cases. Working in this region means embracing a lifestyle that blends professional focus with opportunities to unwind in nature—hiking alpine trails, enjoying pristine waterways, and savoring local cuisine amid a community that welcomes clinicians with warmth. The area’s seasonal rhythms create dynamic patient populations and collaborative opportunities with regional medical centers, academic affiliates, and specialty clinics—allowing you to broaden your clinical perspective while maintaining the intimate, hands-on connection that characterizes high-quality perioperative care. For those who relish a balance between professional rigor and the simple pleasures of living in New England, this assignment offers both.

As an OR Registered Nurse, you’ll bring critical responsibilities to life: ensuring immaculate sterile technique, coordinating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and circulating staff, and guiding the patient through the surgical journey with clear, compassionate communication. You’ll conduct precise equipment checks, administer and monitor anesthesia, manage incisions and wound care in collaboration with the sterile field, and vigilantly monitor hemodynamics and patient status during critical moments. Your role will include preoperative assessment, patient positioning, instrument and device count, documentation, and post-anesthesia handoff to the recovery team. You’ll identify opportunities for process improvements, support quality initiatives, and participate in orientation and mentorship for new staff. Growth opportunities abound—from expanding expertise with new surgical specialties to cross-training in related perioperative services—underpinned by a robust education and professional development framework. In addition to clinical responsibilities, you’ll benefit from a competitive compensation package that recognizes your expertise, including a sign-on bonus, housing assistance, and extension opportunities that allow you to tailor your engagement to your goals. Weekly pay ranges from $2,580 to $2,769, reflecting the value you bring to a high-demand perioperative setting, with the flexibility of a contract that may extend as needed to fit both your personal and professional plans.

This role is supported by comprehensive, 24/7 assistance as you travel with the company—ensuring you have seamless access to clinical leads, credentialing specialists, and field support before, during, and after each shift. You’ll have a dedicated liaison to help with housing logistics, credentialing, and scheduling, so you can focus on delivering patient-centered care with confidence. The organization is deeply invested in empowering its nurses, providing ongoing mentorship, leadership development, and opportunities to advance into perioperative leadership roles or specialized clinical tracks. The environment is built on teamwork, integrity, and accountability, where every nurse’s voice is heard and every patient’s dignity is protected. The company recognizes that supporting your well-being—through flexible scheduling, wellness resources, and a culture of gratitude—drives better patient outcomes and a more fulfilling career.

We are proud to reflect a philosophy that values your professional journey as much as the patients you serve. You’ll join a community that champions continuous improvement, collaboration across departments, and transparency in communication. Your success is the mission, and your development is methodically supported—from onboarding through ongoing education credits, simulation-based training, and exposure to a spectrum of surgical specialties. If you’re ready to apply your expertise in a setting that honors your dedication, this position offers meaningful, challenging cases, a welcoming community, and the infrastructure to help you thrive while enriching your nursing practice.

Are you prepared to bring advanced perioperative care to life in Littleton and beyond? If you’re driven by clinical excellence, patient advocacy, and the opportunity to grow within a respected healthcare partner, we invite you to apply. This is your chance to join a company that values your contributions, accelerates your professional development, and stands beside you with unwavering support as you navigate dynamic surgical environments. Take the next step toward a rewarding chapter in your OR nursing career—where your skill, resilience, and compassion shape outcomes and touch lives.
