Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with certification (CCC) and school-based licensure is needed to provide comprehensive support to K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Merrimack, NH. This position is available for the entire school year, offering the opportunity to impact student speech and language development across all grade levels.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with student needs.
- Deliver direct therapy services to students, addressing speech articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and integrate therapy goals into classroom activities.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly and prepare reports for educational planning meetings.
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional expertise to goal setting and compliance with special education regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid licensure as an SLP in a school setting.
- Experience working with a diverse K-12 student population.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs and educational goals.
