Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to serve high school students in Keene, NH, for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position emphasizes case management responsibilities within a supportive educational environment.
Start Date: August 4, 2025
End Date: May 31, 2026
Schedule: 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Key Qualifications:
- New Hampshire Special Education license required
- Experience working with high school students in special education settings
- Strong case management skills and ability to coordinate individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse student populations
Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement individualized education plans to meet student needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and therapists to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and services
- Provide direct instruction and behavioral support as needed
- Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
