Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
Facility: Central Vermont Medical Center
Assignment for 16-32 weeks. Women's and Children's L&D RN: Float required, every other weekend, and call (2 – 12 hour shifts in a rolling 4 week timeframe). Travelers must work 2 out of the 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day. Requirements: • Prior travel experience • BLS, NRP required; ACLS, PALS (or PEARS), STABLE preferred • 1 year of L&D experience to submit, as well as LDRP experience • Epic experience from within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable • Experience as a baby nurse at delivery, initiating/being a part of neonatal resuscitations, assigning APGAR scores, and giving newborn medications post-delivery Additional Information: • IVS to OFFER • Monday to Sunday • Bi-weekly Orientations on Monday, next orientations are 8/4 & 8/18 • No block schedules for any reason • Please ensure all employment gaps over 90 days are explained • this facility requires ALL work history information (bed count, EMR, facility type, etc.) to be complete in order to submit Disclaimers: • Public Transportation is NOT accessible in this area, please ensure you have reliable transportation, personal vehicle or rental vehicle are strongly recommended • Vehicles should be equipped with all season or snow tires during the months of November – April
