What You’ll Do
Lead Projects With Purpose
- Lead and inspire your project teams—including Project Engineers and Superintendents—to achieve excellence.
- Maintain a deep understanding of project goals and ensure all team members are aligned and equipped for success.
- Partner with the Project Executive to set project strategy, drive execution, and meet financial and performance targets.
- Oversee multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring every phase is delivered at the highest standard.
Build Strong Foundations in Preconstruction
- Collaborate with estimating and purchasing teams to set each project up for success with accurate budgets and the right subcontractor partners.
- Help shape cost estimates, track weekly updates, and maintain financial oversight throughout the project.
- Prepare clear and detailed scope sheets to ensure alignment across all trades.
Drive Excellence in Construction Operations
- Work side-by-side with Superintendents and Project Engineers to ensure top-tier safety, exceptional craftsmanship, and adherence to Republic Building’s standards.
- Manage critical project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, drawings, as-builts, meeting minutes, and closeout materials.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, tenants, and subcontractors to keep the project moving smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain tight control of schedule and budget to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
- Verify that all approved products and materials are installed correctly and meet quality expectations.
- Lead the final stages of the project—punch lists, inspections, permits, and sign-offs—while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.
Keep Everything Running Smoothly
- Proactively monitor compliance with contract documents, schedule and budget.
- Manage multiple active construction projects while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field.
- At least five years of experience in construction as a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager.
- Massachusetts Builder’s License preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Procore.
- A problem-solver’s mindset with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional client service and a drive to see projects succeed.
