We are searching for a dynamic HVAC Install Manager for our Auburn, MA location. The successful candidate is goal oriented, self-motivated, and has demonstrated leadership and people development skills. The HVAC Install Manager will oversee daily residential installations while managing the field and office operations. The field includes Install Crews consisting of Supervisors, Leads, Seconds, and Apprentices. The office includes administration and a permit delivery specialist.

About the Requirements/Skills:

  • Mandatory 5+ years within the HVAC Residential Install industry. Do not apply without RESIDENTIAL HVAC INSTALL experience.
  • 1+ years experience as an HVAC Residential Install Manager.
  • Technical School diploma or certificate of completion
  • Oversight of Permits and Inspections
  • Knowledge of HVAC equipment, tools and materials
  • Extensive technical skills within the trade
  • Customer/Client Interfacing
  • Ability & willingness to work a flexible schedule as necessary to meet customer requirements
  • Understanding of operational concepts including planning, scheduling, and logistics
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

About the Responsibilities:

  • Directly manages Installation team members. This includes but is not limited to include interviewing and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Stay abreast of industry technological developments and convey this knowledge to team members
  • Coordinate team member activities to ensure individual and team goals are consistently achieved; ensure team members are working up to the highest standards in all aspects of their positions; conduct regular meetings with team members to review company policy and procedures, performance, quality and safety statistics
  • Interface effectively with other departments
  • Ensure employees provide superior customer service; conducts ride-a-longs with Service Technicians Provide customer service support, as necessary; respond to customer inquiries and problems in a timely manner; resolve excessive consumption problems
  • Promote and support the Company brand
