If you're strong in general maintenance, comfortable in industrial settings, and eager to build on your skills, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in minor maintenance and troubleshooting of heat treat equipment.
  • Conducting welding repairs as needed for fixtures, chutes, guards, frames, or equipment components.
  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals to diagnose faults.
  • Operating thermocouple sensors, temperature controls, or monitoring instruments when involved in heat treat tasks.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment in compliance with OSHA and environmental standards.
  • Assisting with inventory control of repair parts, fixtures, and consumables for maintenance use.
  • Creating work logs, maintenance records, and completion reports.
  • Providing on-call support for emergency repairs or breakdowns.
  • Cooperating with production staff and communicating maintenance updates clearly.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Technical training or equivalent hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to troubleshoot bearings, motors, gearboxes, fluid power, and conveyor systems.
  • Proficient in welding (e.g., MIG/TIG/Stick), including the ability to make structural or fixture repairs.
  • Comfortable reading blueprints, wiring/mechanical schematics, and technical instructions.
  • Experienced using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and common maintenance tools.
  • Ability to lift ~50 lbs, work in noisy/hot/fume-exposed environments, and stand/climb as needed.
  • Strong attention to detail, good written and oral communication, and safety awareness.
  • A team player capable of working with minimal supervision yet coordinating with others.
  • Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of heat treat processes, such as tempering, annealing, oil quenching, or vacuum furnaces is a plus.
  • Prior work with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting (a plus), HVAC, hydraulics, or compressed air systems.
  • Experience maintaining preventive maintenance records and scheduling equipment downtime.
  • Basic computer skills for logging repairs and ordering materials.

Compensation: Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.

Benefits: We offer comprehensive benefits to include health, and an incentive recognition bonus (all benefits are based on eligibility).
