Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team for a 14-week night shift contract in Concord, NH. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care under the direction of registered nurses and medical staff. This is a great opportunity for an experienced nurse looking to make a difference while enjoying the flexibility of contract work.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic bedside care including taking vital signs, administering medications, and assisting with daily living activities
- Monitor patients’ conditions and report changes to RN or physician
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with facility policies and state/federal regulations
- Assist with wound care, catheterizations, and other nursing procedures as directed
- Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Support patients and their families by providing emotional support and health education
- Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Requirements:
- Active and Valid LPN license in the state of New Hampshire
- Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience in a clinical or long-term care setting
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or equivalent required
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Strong communication, observation, and organizational skills
