Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Compensation: $22 - $34 an hour (DOE) + Full Benefits

The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Setup Operator who thrives in a high-precision environment. This is a role for a "complete" machinist—someone who has the technical confidence to take a job from a setup sheet to a finished, inspected part with minimal to no supervision.

Core Responsibilities (Must be able to perform unassisted):
- Complete Setup: Perform full setups on both CNC Mills and Lathes.
- Tooling: Select, assemble, and set up correct tooling based on supplied setup sheets.
- Program Validation: Prove out G-code programs to ensure safe and accurate production runs.
- Quality Control: Complete First Article Inspections (FAI), fill out detailed inspection reports, and perform deburring.
- Precision Measurement: Maintain tolerances as tight as .0002” using an optical comparator and CMM.
- Problem Solving: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or programming issues on the fly.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Proven track record in CNC setup and operation (Mill & Lathe).
- Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and setup sheets.
- GD&T: Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (Preferred).
- Software: Familiarity with Solidworks and Esprit CAM is a significant plus.
- Mindset: A cooperative team player who is also a self-starter, capable of operating with total independence.
