Position Overview
Northwest Talent Solutions (NWTS) is partnering with a global technology and digital transformation organization to identify a Senior Salesforce Lightning Developer to support enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations within a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
This role is hands-on and delivery-focused, requiring deep experience with the Salesforce Lightning Platform, custom development, integrations, and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate brings strong engineering discipline, cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in complex enterprise environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesSalesforce Development & Delivery

Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable solutions on the Salesforce Lightning Platform

Build and maintain custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
-
Develop clean, maintainable, and well-tested Apex code and test classes
Platform Integration & Architecture

Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using RESTful APIs

Support data modeling, SOQL queries, and database best practices

Configure and customize Salesforce features including reports, dashboards, workflows, and automation
DevOps & SDLC

Support CI/CD pipelines using Git, Salesforce DX, and DevOps tools
-
Participate in full software development lifecycle activities, including Agile methodologies

Utilize rapid prototyping to propose and validate solutions for complex business challenges
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver business value

Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and best practices
Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field

7+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce platform

Strong hands-on experience with:

Salesforce Lightning Platform

Apex
-
JavaScript / HTML / CSS

SOQL

Experience working in enterprise or consulting environments

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work in a hybrid model (3 days on-site in Boston, MA)
Preferred / Ideal Experience

Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and/or Sales Cloud

Financial services or regulated industry experience

Strong understanding of DevOps best practices, including version control and CI/CD

Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems and services

Familiarity with AI-enabled or data-driven Salesforce solutions
Work Environment
This role operates in a hybrid model, requiring on-site collaboration three days per week. The position supports enterprise clients and large-scale Salesforce implementations in a dynamic, innovation-focused environment.
