Ryan Iron Works has been the leading miscellaneous metals fabricator south of Boston for over 50 years. Our home office is conveniently located in Raynham, MA, at the intersection of Rt. 495 & Rt. 138 and just minutes from Rt. 24 for an easy commute. We are known for our commitment to excellence and our attention to detail. Notable projects include Gillette Stadium, Foxboro; The Holocaust Memorial, Boston; and Harvard University Lowell House, Cambridge.
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Estimator to join our team.
This team member will:
- Analyze Architectural drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate material and labor costs.
- Estimate and process change orders.
- Attend descope meetings with the General Contractor and Architect.
- Identify and generate business.
- Network and establish / maintain customer relationships.
- Assist the accounting team with monthly billing.
The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience preferred estimating Miscellaneous Metal and Light Structural Steel.
- Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to multitask
