Job Description

The Propane Service Technician is primarily responsible for the following functions:
• Installs propane equipment for new customers.
• Performs service calls and preventative maintenance on existing systems.
• Performs propane deliveries as necessary.
• Responds to emergency calls as needed.
• Completes system inspections, repairs, and tests.
• Provides mentorship and guidance to Apprentices and Helpers.
• Performs other similar duties as required.

Required:
• High school degree or equivalent
• Current EPA license
• Massachusetts and/or New Hampshire Gas Fitters License and/or New Hampshire Gas Fitters License
• Ability to work extended hours as necessary, especially during peak demand seasons

Preferred:
• CDL A or B with HazMat/Tanker endorsements
• CETP training
• Crane experience
• Prior experience working for a fuel company
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Received:
Works under the general direction of the Service Manager.
Exercised: None.

Field:
• Regularly works outside in varying weather conditions
• Often subject to extreme variations of temperature or odors June 14, 2023
• Often exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals
• Regularly exposed to moderate to loud noise levels

Office:
• Moderately noisy office, subject to frequent interruptions
• Not subject to extreme variations of temperature or odors
• Broco Energy is a family-friendly workplace. Well-behaved dogs are regularly in the office and
children are present on occasion.
