Registered Nurse (RN) – MedSurg/Telemetry | Night Shift
We are seeking an experienced RN MedSurg/Telemetry nurse to join our night shift team. This role is ideal for a confident, adaptable nurse who can work independently in a critical access, 25-bed hospital located in the heart of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom.
Schedule
- Night shift
- Every other weekend rotation required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to MedSurg and Telemetry patients
- Work independently in a fast-paced critical access environment
- Perform charge nurse duties as assigned
- Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to patient condition changes
- Float to other units as needed based on hospital staffing and patient care needs
- Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
- Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital policy and standards of practice
Requirements
- Active RN license (state license or compact, as applicable)
- Previous MedSurg and Telemetry experience required
- Ability to function independently and make sound clinical decisions
- Prior charge nurse experience strongly preferred
- Flexibility to float to other units when needed
- BLS required; ACLS preferred
