A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an early childhood school in Cambridge, MA. This contract role is designed for an experienced professional with a passion for supporting young learners in their communication development. Working .4 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE), this position offers a consistent schedule focused on full days every Thursday and Friday.
Key qualifications and experience include:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience and/or licensure as an SLP in educational settings preferred
- Familiarity with early childhood or Pre-K caseloads
- Ability to engage and support young children through developmentally appropriate therapy techniques
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with educators and families
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to Pre-K and early childhood students
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to integrate strategies and support across settings
- Maintain detailed and accurate records in compliance with program and regulatory requirements
- Communicate regularly with families to update progress and provide strategies for home support
